Habitat for Humanity, Duplex Community

James Hricko Architect LLC worked closely with Fauquier Habitat for Humanity and the future homeowners to design this seven duplex community that provides homes for fourteen families. From the beginning the goal was to make each duplex appear as a single-family house. Each unit’s entry door is not visible to the other and each unit has its own front porch. There are two model designs, each with different roof treatments, to create the impression of four different houses.
