Point of View

The clients envisioned a country style farmhouse for their children and grandchildren to enjoy while visiting in the rolling hills of their Virginia farm. The design features a three sided wrap-around porch with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounding meadows. A central cupola lets natural light into the second floor stair hall. A southwest facing sunroom opens to a covered porch for viewing spectacular sunsets.

The interior maintains a country feel with a fieldstone fireplace and wood beams in the family room. Large windows and skylights allow light to stream in from all directions.
